TLI50221 Diploma in Logistics

 Course Overview 

A general qualification for the integrated management of logistics. Successful completion will require the self-directed application of knowledge and skills, with substantial depth in some areas where judgement is required in planning and selecting appropriate equipment, services and techniques for self and others. Applications involve participation in the development of strategic initiatives as well as personal responsibility and autonomy in performing complex technical operations or organising others. It may include participation in teams, including those concerned with planning and evaluation functions. Group or team coordination may be involved. Successful completion of the licensing units within the qualification must align with applicable licensing and regulatory requirements. 


Course Structure 

This qualification may be achieved by: 

✓ Full-time study

✓ Part-time study 

✓ Distance learning   

This qualification supports self-paced learning.    

Study may include a combination of face-to-face, online, home   based learning. 

You will be required to undertake the following: 

• Course material reading 

• Research of assignment tasks 

• Course work activities 


Course Prerequisites 

• Ability to use and understand English 

• Unless secondary school has been conducted in  English, an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent 


Entry Requirements 

There are no entry requirements for this qualification 


Methods of Assessment may include: 

• Blended delivery classroom, online and practical 

• Questioning  

• Observation & Demonstration  

• Portfolio & projects

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)  

Recognition of prior learning is available and involves assessment   of an individual’s prior learning (including formal, informal and   non-formal learning) to determine competency. RPL shall be   reviewed upon request
