
OVERVIEW
This unit equips heavy vehicle drivers with the skills and knowledge to apply a fatigue risk management system in the road transport sector. It is required for National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) Fatigue Management Accreditation and supports compliance with regulatory obligations for managing driver fatigue.
COURSE CONTENT
Learners will develop the ability to:
DELIVERY & ASSESSMENT
This is a self-paced, self-managed course.
Natwide Training Australia also offer Face to face delivery scheduled training sessions.
There are theory and practical training and assessment components to the course.
A simulated industry environment that reflects real workplace conditions will be required for the practical component.
NATIONAL RECOGNITION
On successful completion of training and assessment, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for:

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) proficiency: Participants must demonstrate appropriate LLND skills to meet course and workplace requirements (assessment conducted prior to enrolment).
