OVERVIEW
This unit equips learners with the skills and knowledge required to obtain a Dangerous Goods (DG) driver license to transport dangerous goods by road.The training focuses on compliance with regulatory requirements for the safe transport of dangerous goods. While successful completion of this unit is a mandatory requirement for licensing, additional industry-specific training may be required to fully meet legislative obligations
COURSE CONTENT
This unit covers the knowledge and skills required to safely transport Dangerous Goods (DG) by road and meet licensing requirements. Learners will develop practical capability in:

NATIONAL RECOGNITION
On successfully completing the training and assessment you will be issued a Statement of Attainment to issue you the unit of competency:
DURATION AND LOCATION 2 Day –16 hours (students may be required to submit practical evidence post training day)
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
NOTE: Driver licence means a licence (including a probationary and a conditional licence but not including a provisional or learner's licence or permit) - From Dangerous substances (Dangerous Goods Transport) Regulations 2023 - Part 2 Interpretation/ Division 1 General/ Driver Licence.
