 Course Overview 

This qualification is suitable for people working in a work health and safety (WHS) role who work to provide leadership and guidance to others and have some limited responsibility for the output of others. The qualification reflects the role of workers who apply a broad knowledge base and well-developed skills in a wide variety of contexts and may include coordinators, advisors and facilitators. 


Course Structure 

This qualification may be completed: 

✓ Full-time 

✓ Part-time 

✓ Distance learning   

This qualification supports self-paced learning.    

Study may include a combination of face-to-face, online, home-based learning. 

You will be required to undertake the following: 

• Course material reading 

• Research of assignment tasks 

• Course work activities 


Course Prerequisites 

• Ability to use and understand English 


Entry Requirements 

It is advantageous that you have: 

• Basic computer literacy 

• The ability to work in groups  

• Work autonomously 

• Be able to carry out research  


 Methods of Training and Assessment 

These may include 

• Blended delivery classroom, online and practical 

• Questioning  

• Observation & Demonstration  

• Portfolio & projects

• 0.5 - 2 years
