OVERVIEW
This course quips learners with the skills and knowledge required to obtain a Dangerous Goods (DG) driver license to transport dangerous goods by road including Safe Load Program (SLP) mandatory requirement for anyone as a tanker driver in fuel industry .
The training focuses on compliance with regulatory requirements for the safe transport of dangerous goods, with SPL delivered on the last part of the first day. While successful completion of this course is a mandatory requirement for licensing, additional industry-specific training may be required to fully meet legislative obligations
The Safe Load Program (SLP) is a mandatory prerequisite for anyone wanting to enter the fuel industry as a tanker driver. This nationally recognised program ensures you understand the safety, compliance, and operational requirements before you can load fuel at a terminal.

NOTE: Driver licence means a licence (including a probationary and a conditional licence but not including a provisional or learner's licence or permit) - From Dangerous substances (Dangerous Goods Transport) Regulations 2023 - Part 2 Interpretation/ Division 1 General/ Driver Licence.
